Peter Jon Wallace kicked the bucket on August 31, 1962, in Greece. His demise was either at Corinth or on Santorini, contingent upon which of two clashing adaptations you credit.

A Yale Daily News article on Sep. 19, 1962, states:

“Peter J. Wallace, 1964, was murdered in a fall this August while climbing in the mountains close to Corinth, Greece. Wallace was an individual from the publication leading body of the Yale Daily News, and had worked for CBS news. His last distributed work was an article on William P. Bundy. Notwithstanding his exercises in the field of reporting, he played tennis for Jonathan Edwards College. He moved on from Millbrook and was the child of TV character Mike Wallace of New York.”
