Taylor Derosa Obituary: The Grand Valley State University understudy whose body was found throughout the end of the week has been distinguished as Taylor DeRosa, a first-year understudy from Royal Oak, school authorities said Tuesday.

College police and the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office are proceeding with their examination concerning the 18-year-old’s passing, calling it “dubious.” Her body was found in the intramural fields and crosscountry trail at the Allendale grounds. The reason for her demise has not been resolved as of Tuesday.

GVSU understudies are arranging a candlelight vigil in memory of DeRosa at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Cook Carillon Tower on the Allendale grounds. Face covers are needed, alongside social removing.

DeRosa was studying global business with a minor in French at GVSU, and “her glow, neighborliness and humor carried euphoria to each and every individual who knew her,” as indicated by a GoFundMe page coordinated by Gina Mollencopf of Royal Oak to pay for DeRosa’s dedication costs.
