Steve Platt Obituary: Stephen E. Platt, 71, of Elkhart, kicked the bucket Friday, January 20, 2017 at Elkhart General Hospital. Stephen was brought into the world on May 24, 1945 in Logansport, IN, to Preston and Maxine (Cline) Platt.

He moved on from Valparaiso High School in 1963 and Valparaiso University in 1967. During his secondary school and school years he dominated as a competitor, playing football, ball, and baseball. While going to Valparaiso University, Stephen was an individual from the Phi Delta Theta organization and filled in as president during his senior year. He moved on from Valparaiso Law School in 1970.

Moving to Elkhart in 1970, he provided legal counsel until 1978, when he was named to Elkhart Superior Court 5 (earlier County Court) and turned into a sitting adjudicator. Stephen filled in as a Superior Court judge for a very long time prior to resigning in 2006. He additionally filled in as a Senior Judge in Elkhart and St. Joseph provinces from 2007 until his passing.
