Songezo Mjongile Death: Previous ANC commonplace secretary in the Western Cape, Songezo Mjongile, has passed on. The gathering said Mjongile, who was warmly known by his family name “Madiba”, kicked the bucket on Thursday at home in Morningside, Johannesburg.

He had colon malignancy.

“Around the 29 August 2020, the ANC discovered that companion Songezo had been determined to have colon malignant growth in April 2020 and among his last wishes was to add to the reestablishment of the ANC and the achievement of the public vote based unrest,” ANC representative Pule Mabe said in an announcement.

“This was an impression of the dedication friend Songezo had to the ANC, the mass majority rule development structures and the more extensive society of SA,” he included.

Mjongile had taken to his online media records to declare his fight with the disease.

“To every one of my companions and friends, I found in April that I experience the ill effects of colon disease. Chemotherapy treatment didn’t work, rather symptoms have prompted two occurrences of kidney disappointment and [a] gentle cardiovascular failure. I made it due to the beauty of God. I am leaving [sic] my second rent of life and go to God to give me the capacity to bring up my kids and family,” he had composed.

“My last wish for every one of my wrongdoings. I wanna add to the reestablishment of the ANC and achievement of the NDR [sic],” he said.

Mabe featured Mjongile’s excursion in the governmental issues.

“He turned into an extremist in the Congress of South African Students (Cosas) and was later chosen its leader. He proceeded with his life of activism in the positions of the African National Congress Youth League (ANCYL), ascending through the positions and chose for the public chief and public working boards of the ANCYL,” said Mabe.

“Friend Songezo proceeded to be chosen as the commonplace financier and later common secretary of the ANC in the Western Cape,”
