Skagit Bridge Accident – What caused the Skagit River bridge collapse?

Skagit Bridge Accident – A three-vehicle crash on the Interstate 5 extension over the Skagit River shut down that segment of the highway to northward traffic for around 1/2 hours Tuesday morning. State Patrol Trooper Rocky Oliphant said those elaborate experienced minor wounds, in spite of significant harm to one vehicle.

Around 11 a.m., a semi-truck voyaging north back finished a car, pushing it forward and into another semi-truck, Oliphant said. The vehicle was wedged under the back semi-truck and was squashed.
