Rudy Salas Death: Rudy Salas, who was an individual from the Latin R&B band Tierra and soul bunch El Chicano, kicked the bucket on Tuesday, Tierra reported. He was 72.

“It is with significant misery that we report the death of Rudy Salas, the pioneer and fellow benefactor of Tierra, early earlier today,” the gathering posted on Facebook on Tuesday. “We have lost our stone, our imaginative soul, spouse, father, granddad (and prospective extraordinary granddad), uncle, sibling and head of Tierra whose set of experiences traverses almost fifty years. Millions have made the most of Tierra’s music and we are profoundly appreciative for the overflowing of adoration and backing we have gotten from dear companions, allies and family.”

In 1972, Salas played guitar for El Chicano alongside his sibling Steve Salas, who was an entertainer. The following year, the two sibling helped to establish Tierra with unique individuals Bobby Navarrete, Joey Guerra, Steve Falomir, Philip Madayag and Andre Baeza. The gathering recorded their first self-named collection that year and afterward proceeded to distribute 14 additional records, the latest being in 2017.
