Rebecca Beatty Quinte – Death: An examination is proceeding after two individuals were killed in an accident on Old Highway 2 in Quinte West, say police. On Sunday, Oct. 3, at about 12:25 p.m., officials with Quinte West OPP reacted to an impact on Old Highway 2, east of RCAF Road, said police.

It included two vehicles, one eastward and one westward.

“The driver and traveler in the eastward vehicle were articulated dead at the scene,” police said. “The solitary driver of the westward vehicle was moved to emergency clinic with obscure wounds.”

Police said Rebecca Beatty, 22, of Quinte West, and Anastasia Collins, 23, of Belleville, were both articulated expired at the scene.

The East Region’s OPP specialized impact examiners and specialists prepared in crash reproduction went to the scene. The street was shut down for around 12 hours.
