Jordan Wells Accident – It was only one year prior that 19-year-old Jordan Wells lay kicking the bucket in the forest close to her old neighborhood of Waldorf, Md. In September 2008, Wells was a school first-year recruit home for an end-of-the-week gathering when she endure an auto accident just to persevere through a medevac helicopter collide in transit with the clinic that killed every other person ready, including her dearest companion.

Wells lost one of her legs and somewhat recently has gone through 24 medical procedures to fix a wrecked cheekbone, nose, eye attachment, shoulder bone, and the five plates that were ousted along her spine.

“It seems like a genuine leg,” she said today on “Great Morning America.” “I’m only glad to walk.”

On Saturday, Sept. 27, 2008, Wells, then, at that point, 18, was in the driver’s seat of her vehicle at 11 p.m., driving on dangerous streets with closest companion Ashley Younger, 17, in the front seat.

“I was driving and it was pouring super hard that evening,” Wells told “20/20” recently. “I don’t recollect how quick I was going, yet I sure was saying to Ashley, I resembled, ‘I’m going to let completely go.’ And so before I knew it, it was going across the middle and it resembled knock, knock, knock, and we hit a tree.”

Police and ambulances showed up on the scene to track down the two young ladies in hysterics. Wells needed to inform her folks regarding the accident however in the disarray, she lost her phone. Her folks, Scott and Lynn Wells had no clue their little girl had been in an auto crash.

Ashley Younger contacted her mom, Stephanie Younger, on her wireless, and her folks dashed to the location of the mishap, where paramedics were attempting to get the young ladies out of the vehicle and decide the degree of their wounds.
