Jordan Brookings Death: The 1990s were a time of serious harmony measure arrangements among Israel and its Arab neighbors. In Madrid and Oslo and Shepherdstown and Camp David, two American presidents attempted to carry harmony to the Middle East.
In the end it was generally a disappointment, with one exemption: the Jordan-Israel ceasefire of October 26, 1994. A quarter century back, the deal was endorsed in the Wadi Arava along the fringe between the two nations with President Bill Clinton as the observer. It has suffered on the grounds that it has vital incentive to the two nations and the United States.
