Jason hatfield obituary: A man who passed on while climbing in the Grand Canyon on Wednesday has been recognized as Dr. Jason Hatfield, a family medication doctor at Opelousas General Hospital. Park authorities said Hatfield, 44, fell Wednesday on the Bright Angel Trail. He was getting back from Phantom Ranch when he started encountering trouble climbing up the path close to Indian Garden, authorities said.

Hatfield, who lived in the St. Landry Parish town of Washington, was hitched to Dr. Allison Hatfield, an Opelousas pediatrician, as indicated by an assertion from Lily Pad Pediatrics, where Allison Hatfield rehearses.

The couple has four small kids, as per the assertion.

“He was energetic about his family, local area, and patients. His authority and sympathy will be staggeringly missed by many,” the assertion peruses.
