Dennis thomas cause of death: Dennis “Dee Tee” Thomas, a prime supporter of Kool and the Gang, kicked the bucket Saturday in his rest, a representative said. He was 70 and no reason for death not really settled.

“A unique individual from Kool and the Gang, Dennis was known as the quintessential boss in the gathering, adored for his hip garments and caps, and his laid-back disposition,” the representative said in an explanation. “A gigantic character while likewise a very private individual, Dennis was the alto saxophone player, flute player, percussionist just as emcee at the band’s shows.”

Thomas was most unmistakably included on Kool and the Gang’s 1971 hit, Who’s Gonna Take the Weight. His demise follows that of individual fellow benefactor Ronald “Khalis” Bell, who kicked the bucket in Sept. 2020 at age 68.

Begun in New Jersey by a gathering of neighborhood companions, Kool and The Gang was one of the major R&B gatherings of the 1970s, with so much hits as Jungle Boogie and Hollywood Swingers ruling radio. After a concise slump, they returned solid during the 1980s with the beast hit Celebration.
