David Compo Obituary: Government avionics authorities are investigating an observer report that a private plane that collided with a Lyon Township home on Saturday cut a tree prior to striking the home. The plane was directed by Northville homebuilder David S. Compo, who passed on alongside his better half and child in the red hot accident. The home’s tenants securely fled after the accident.

“We have an observer report that the plane struck a tree and afterward struck the house,” said Peter Knudson, a representative for the National Transportation Safety Board, on Sunday night. “That is the data we have. We don’t have any observation video as far as anyone is concerned.

“The climate was cloudy, and the observer said that the plane arose out of the cloud deck and presently struck the tree, and afterward struck the house.”

Government avionics authorities haven’t made any determinations yet about the reason for the accident, Knudson said.

“There was a critical post-crash fire,” Knudson added. “Frequently these planes have fuel in them, thus that regularly drives the fire.

Government flying authorities will have a fundamental report finished in 10 to 14 days that will spread out current realities and conditions encompassing the accident, he said.

Mr. Compo was recalled Sunday for his energy by business partners, who additionally considered him a companion. He was 60.
