Stacey spent her initial a long time in Corpus Christi and lived in Giddings at the hour of her demise. She played b-ball and volleyball at Smithville High School in Smithville, Texas, where she graduated in 1995. She worked in the produce part of a supermarket in Bastrop. She was to wed her life partner, a Giddings cop, on May 11.
