Petra Mayer Obituary – Petra Mayer, the book’s proofreader for National Public Radio, kicked the bucket Saturday of what’s accepted to be an aspiratory embolism, the news association said. She was 46.

Mayer is associated with her detailing at Comic-Con and aiding set up NPR’s Book Concierge, a yearly intuitive aide that channels titles dependent on interest to prescribe to perusers. She was an infrequent visitor on “Mainstream society Happy Hour” digital broadcast scenes, and her partners said she was a glad geek who cherished sci-fi and funnies.

Mayer joined NPR Books group in 2012 in the wake of filling in as a partner maker and chief for “In light of everything” on the ends of the week, dealing with the show’s books inclusion.

Her life story on NPR’s site said she originally joined as a designing collaborator in 1994 while going to Amherst College, however, left a couple of years after the fact for a piece of news composing position at Boston’s WBUR and for a graduate degree in reporting from Columbia University.
