Missing Kayaker Wellington – Update!

Missing Kayaker Wellington – A pursuit via land and ocean is in progress in Wellington for a 23-year-old kayaker missing since Monday night. Police say Jack Skellett was accounted for past due from a kayaking trip at around 10 pm. He left Petone Beach late on Monday morning.

It’s accepted his goals were to kayak around Matiu-Soames Island and back.

There was a logical locating of him kayaking around the south finish of the island somewhere in the range of 1 pm and 2 pm on Monday. This was accounted for by a boatie. A blue kayak without its oar accepted to be Skellett’s was found via search groups on the Pencarrow shoreline, only north of Hinds Point, in the early hours of earlier today.
