Jeffrey Mintz Obituary: Jeff was conceived January 4, 1965, in Cleveland, Ohio and was brought up in the Chicago region. He moved on from the University of Minnesota, and acquired his law degree at DePaul University. Notwithstanding his professions in law and business, Jeff filled in as the leader of Congregation B’nai Israel, in Rochester, MN. He delighted in going to stand-up parody shows, acting and playing Scrabble and Boggle, yet more than anything, he cherished music. Jeff sang in various groups, facilitated karaoke gatherings in his home, and had become a karaoke DJ in the Twin Cities. He enjoyed massive watching his kids sing, act, play guitar and perform.

He is gone before in death by his dad, Dr. Alan Mintz and made due by his mom, Rabbi Yocheved Mintz; kids, Lee and Gabrielle Mintz; ex, Kristy Johnston Mintz; kin, Ari Mintz and Anne Hunting, Steve and Trish Mintz, and Jon Mintz and Erin Trowbridge; nieces and nephews, Tani, Abby (Zach), Rachel, Molly, Sophie, Heidi, Jack, Judah, Willow, Justin (Kate), Field (Sandy) and William; just as endless cousins and adoring companions.

If you don’t mind note that because of the Covid-19 pandemic and State of Nevada wellbeing guidelines, Jeff’s memorial service and internment administrations will be restricted to his relatives. The family demands that commemoration gifts be made to Congregation P’nai Tikvah of Las Vegas or Jewish Family Service Agency of Las Vegas.
