Jay Kimbrough Obituary: Jay Kimbrough, a previous head of staff to Gov. Rick Perry, who filled in as delegate chancellor for the Texas A&M University System, passed on Tuesday. As per an article in The Eagle files, he was a Vietnam War veteran and had served in the Marines. He had worked with veterans’ illicit relationships in the Texas Health and Human Services Commission.
Kimbrough was employed at the A&M System in 2006 as delegate general guidance, and served in a few situations, as indicated by past Eagle stories. Notwithstanding appointee chancellor and general advice, he also functioned as an uncommon counselor to the board and break chancellor. He had likewise filled in as conservator of the Texas Youth Commission, as Texas’ head of Homeland Security, representative lawyer general and chief overseer of the Texas Commission on Alcohol and Drug Abuse.
