Gordon Stewart or most popular as ‘Butch’ Stewart who was the author of Sandals Resorts International, ATL Group, and The Jamaica Observer kicked the bucket Monday night at 79 years old.

Stewart, brought into the world in 1941 in Kingston, Jamaica, grew up along the nation’s north coast, where he came to be known as “Butch”, a moniker given to him by an American mariner.
