Caleb Solberg Obituary: The Iowa Department of Public Safety has given the criminal grumbling that rundowns the subtleties that prompted the demise of Caleb Solberg, 30, of Moorhead, on Wednesday, December 17, and the capture and charge of first-degree murder against Kristofer Allan Erlbacher, 28, of Woodbine, on Thursday, December 18.

• On Thursday, December 17, Kristofer Erlbacher and Caleb Solberg were associated with an actual fight that occurred in Moorhead in Monona County.

• Afterward, Erlbacher, joined by a companion, Shaun Johnson, ventured out to Dave’s Old Home Cafe situated in Pisgah in Harrison County. During this time Erlbacher reached Craig Pryor, a stepbrother to Solberg, by telephone. It was during this discussion that Erlbacher educated Pryor about the actual quarrel.

• A subsequent call was made to Pryor soon after the first again from Erlbacher. It was during this call that Erlbacher undermined the life of Solberg and Pryor.

• Eventually Pryor headed to Pisgah. Once there, Pryor stopped close to Dave’s Old Home Cafe. Johnson met with Pryor right away. Johnson cautioned Pryor of Erlbacher. Erlbacher was situated inside the bistro.
