Ahmaud Marquez Arbery, “Quez”, was brought into the world on May 8, 1994, in Brunswick Georgia. He was a caring child, sibling, uncle, nephew, cousin, and companion. He was unassuming, kind, and polite.

He generally ensured he never left his friends and family without an “I Love You”. He had a grin that would illuminate a room. He wanted to make quips, to evoke chuckling, and had a delightful character. He delighted in personal time with his loved ones. He cherished games; ball and football were his top decisions. He was a remarkable competitor and decided to wear the football pullover, which was passed down from his more seasoned sibling, Marcus, Jr. Ahmaud was among the graduating class of 2012 at Brunswick High School. He later went to South Georgia Technical College in Americus, Georgia. He is made due by his mom, Wanda Cooper Jones; father, Marcus Arbery, Sr.; one sibling, Marcus Arbery Jr. of Brunswick, Georgia; one sister, Jasmine Arbery of Albany Georgia; two adoring nephews, Marcus, III and Micah Arbery; one godsister, Seneiyah Brown; grandma, Ella Cooper; ten aunties, Bertha Waymer, Nellie Bea Eldridge, Bessie Dix (Paul), Linda Ellison (Keith), Debbie Dixon, Kimberly Cummings, Ruby Preston, Diane Jackson (Ulysses), Evon (Henry) Lakes, and Theawanza Brooks; six uncles, Jerome Holmes (Regina), Inus Holmes, Terry Holmes, Micquell Cooper, Gary Arbery (Carla) and William Arbery (Marva); and a large group of cousins and companions
