Shannon Summers Obituary: Shannon A. Carroll Summers, 51, of Hartford Rd, Simsbury, once in the past of Lakewood, NY, passed on Sunday (March 18, 2007). Shannon was conceived June 8, 1955 in Oakland, CA the girl of Richard P. what’s more, Diane Rae Barnhart Carroll. She was utilized by Chautauqua County Tourism, Jamestown, NY, IBM in Cleveland, OH and Raytheon in Chicago, IL before turning into a full time mother. Shannon was a 1973 alumni of Southwestern Central School, Lakewood and 1977 alumni procuring a BA in Business Administration at Baldwin Wallace College, Berea, OH.

She was delegated Lakewood Area Junior Miss and the New York State Junior Miss in 1973. At Baldwin Wallace was an individual from Delta Zeta Sorority, was delegated Homecoming Queen in 1977 and served on the Bicentennial Committee. She was dynamic as a volunteer, Art Appreciation Teacher, just as Girl Scout Troop Leader for a long time. Shannon was a caring mother, little girl, sister and auntie.

Her different advantages included singing, planting, and cooking. Enduring are a little girl Savannah Carroll Summers of Simsbury; her dad Richard and step mother Margery Carroll of Lakewood; a sister Jennifer Carroll (Robert) McArdle of Fort Wayne, IN; and two nieces Meghan Diane and Colleen Beverly McArdle both of Fort Wayne. Shannon was gone before in death by her mom Diane Rae Bernhart Carroll who passed on January 11, 1990.

A Mass of Christian Burial was commended at 10 a.m. on Saturday in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Lakewood, NY. Msgr. Joseph M. Dowdell, minister, was celebrant. Entombment was in the Sunset Hill Cemetery, Town of Busti. Companions were gotten from 5-7 p.m.
