Seth Birnbaum Death: EverQuote, Inc. (Nasdaq: EVER), today gave the accompanying articulation: “It is with immense trouble that we declare that Seth Birnbaum, Co-Founder and CEO, out of the blue and calmly died yesterday at his home. Seth was an earnest and profoundly caring spouse, father, companion and associate. The whole EverQuote group grieves his awful passing. In the interest of our Board of Directors, supervisory crew and representatives, we stretch out our most profound feelings to Seth’s family. Seth was an authentic, unique pioneer whose exceptional enthusiasm, vision and determination pulled in the a-list group we have set up today, which fills in as the establishment for EverQuote’s prosperity. We will be perpetually appreciative for his enterprising soul and the inviting and caring climate he developed.”

The Board of Directors actualized the organization’s progression plan and delegated Jayme Mendal, the organization’s President, as its Chief Executive Officer and an individual from the Board of Directors. Mr. Mendal joined EverQuote in 2017 and recently filled in as our Chief Operating Officer and before that as Chief Revenue Officer. David Blundin will keep on filling in as Chairman of the Board of Directors.

Mr. Blundin gave the accompanying explanation in the interest of the Board: “We have encountered an incredible misfortune at EverQuote, and we are crushed by Seth’s passing. We are sure that Jayme and the remainder of the EverQuote authority group will keep on effectively drive forward in executing on the organization’s central goal. Seth was a visionary chief, insightful partner and dear companion of many. We honor his various commitments and will miss him gigantically.”
