Pressley Stutts South: Greenville County Republican Party pioneer Pressley Stutts kicked the bucket Thursday morning in the wake of engaging COVID-19 for almost a month. Stutts’ passing was affirmed by Dan Harvell, who addresses the Anderson County Republican Party on the South Carolina Republican Party’s leader panel.

“I truly don’t have words to say about the engraving that he left on the political scene in South Carolina,” Harvell said. “He had the sort of character that empowered him to complete what others couldn’t do.

“He resembled the sibling I won’t ever have.”

Stutts and his better half were hurried to the emergency clinic Aug. 1 get-togethers oxygen levels dropped. “The COVID has made twofold pneumonia in my lungs,” he said in a Facebook post at that point.
