Pamela Tiffin Obituary: Pamela Tiffin, the 1960s celebrity who was found in the Paramount grocery store while in transit to critical turns in such movies as State Fair, The Pleasure Seekers, Come Fly With Me and Harper, has passed on. She was 78.

Tiffin kicked the bucket Wednesday of normal causes in a clinic in New York, her little girl Echo Danon, an entertainer, video chief and music administrator, revealed to The Hollywood Reporter.

Tiffin got Golden Globe assignments for her initial two highlights, both delivered in 1961: as most encouraging newcomer — female for Summer and Smoke and as best supporting entertainer for her exhibition in Billy Wilder’s Cold War parody One, Two, Three (1961).

In 1964, Tiffin played coeds inverse James Darren in The Lively Set and For Those Who Think Young and featured close by Ann-Margret and Carol Lynley in the Madrid-set rom-com The Pleasure Seekers. After a year, she showed up with Burt Lancaster and Lee Remick in John Sturges’ The Hallelujah Trail.

In just her third film, Tiffin featured close by Pat Boone, Bobby Darin and Ann-Margret in the huge spending melodic State Fair (1962), depicting Margy Frake in the redo of motion pictures delivered in 1933 and 1945 that had Janet Gaynor and Jeanne Crain, individually, in that job.
