Neddy Smith Death – Obituary : Sentenced criminal Arthur ‘Neddy’ Smith has kicked the bucket in Sydney’s Long Bay prison clinic. The famous hoodlum was 76-years of age and had gone through a long time in a correctional facility. He had been engaging Parkinson’s sickness for a very long time. Restorative Services NSW said it was exploring the occurrence with police.

“All passings in guardianship are liable to a coronial examination,” a Corrective Services representative said.

Smith was a critical figure during Sydney’s gangland battle during the 1980s and had gone through a very long time in prison throughout the span of his life. He had been secured since 1989 after likewise serving stretches in the slammer from 1963 to 1965, 1968 to 1975 and 1978 to 1980.

Smith cut an alarming figure, remaining at 1.98cm tall, and tipping the scales at more than 100kgs.

While Smith had been accused of eight homicides, he was just sentenced for two – the killing of whorehouse proprietor Harvey Jones and the homicide in-organization of a tow-transporter named Ronnie Flavell during an irrational anger occurrence.
