Matthew addressed Great Britain at youthful rider and senior European titles, winning a youthful rider silver decoration in 2002 on the homebred Park Pilot. The blend completed thirteenth at the 2005 senior Europeans.
Matthew previously finished Burghley Horse Trials matured 19, and proceeded to ride at five more Burghleys, finishing on five of the six events, and multiple times at Badminton, finishing the occasion on six endeavors, during his vocation. He lived with his significant other Victoria and three youngsters in Nottinghamshire.
