Mary Fanto Obituary: Mary Carmela Fanto, 87, passed on Feb. 12, 2009, at the Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach. She was conceived in New Jersey and lived in Vero Beach for a long time, originating from Sayreville, N.J. She was an individual from St. John of the Cross Catholic Church in Vero Beach and the Heritage Plantation Homeowner’s Association.

Survivors incorporate child, Michael Fanto of Jacksonville; girl, Josephine Trattles of Fort Pierce; two siblings, Angelo and Samuel Sirna, both of New Jersey; sister, Gloria Rowe of New Jersey; nine grandkids; and seven incredible grandkids. Commemoration commitments might be made to St. John of the Cross Catholic Church, 7550 26th St., Vero Beach, FL 32966.

Administrations: A Mass of Christian internment will be at 11 a.m. Feb. 16 at St. John of the Cross Catholic Church in Vero Beach. Entombment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park, Fort Pierce. Plans are by Aycock Funeral Home, Fort Pierce.
