Linda Christie Obituary – Linda S. Christie, 51, of Amsterdam died Wednesday morning March 16, 2011 surprisingly in her home. A girl of JoAnne Stanchina Dent of Amsterdam and the late Joseph Christie, she was conceived July 11, 1959 in Steubenville, Ohio. Linda was an alum of Springfield High School, Franciscan University, Villanova, and Temple Law School.

She filled in as a lawyer for the State of Pennsylvania, at the Philadelphia Stock Exchange, and furthermore was a lawyer for the SEC in Washington D.C. She was an individual from St. Joseph Catholic Church in Amsterdam, where she served on the Parrish Council. Alongside her mom, she is made due by her stepfather, Paul Dent of Amsterdam; sibling, Joseph Christie of Allen,

Texas; two nephews whom she worshiped; and step sibling, Paul Dent of Alliance, Ohio. Mass of Christian internment will be Saturday, March 19, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Joseph Catholic Church of Amsterdam with Fr. John McCoy directing. Appearance will be Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. in Sweeney-Dodds Funeral Home of Amsterdam, with wake administrations at 8:00 p.m. A private entombment will occur at the convienence of the family in Bergholz Cemetery.
