Lemuel Bruce Obituary: Lemuel “DJ” Bruce was conceived in Houston on August 23, 1976. The child of Charlotte Taylor and Delray Bruce, Sr., he experienced childhood in north Houston, was a devoted Boy Scout, and moved on from Klein Oak High School in 1995. DJ at that point enrolled in the U.S. Marine Corps, where he served respectably for a very long time and got one of the most youthful Black Hawk helicopter team bosses throughout the entire existence of the Corps. He later served in the Army National Guard.

DJ was an exceptional spouse, father, child, sibling, proficient partner, and companion. From exploring as a youngster to the military and afterward the fire administration and as an examiner, DJ submitted right off the bat to an existence of administration. En route, he continually strived to develop himself and accommodate his family, working many side positions and acquiring a fire science certificate. DJ’s inclinations off the employment were various – from carpentry to beekeeping, packaging lager, top of the line bourbon, and old-school blue grass music.
