Larry Byrnes Obituary: Lawrence W. “Larry” Byrnes Ovid Lawrence W. “Larry” Byrnes, 79 of Ovid died December 31, 2009. Larry was brought into the world on July 17, 1930 the child of Leo and Mary Byrnes. Larry resigned from Oldsmobile Division of General Motors in 1988 following 38 years of administration and worked for Chrysan for the following 7 years.

He was a fourth Degree individual from the Knight of Columbus and past individual from the Ovid Lions Club. Larry abandons his better half of 57 years, Anne (Vaniman) Byrnes; four children, Larry J. (Peggy), David (companion Sandy Bruer), Brian (Kristie) and Eric (Holly); grandkids, Christopher (Michelle) Byrnes, Ryan Byrnes, Ashley Byrnes, Erin Byrnes, Madalynn and Jack Byrnes; three extraordinary grandkids, Camdyn, Caitlyn and Coltyn Byrnes; sister,

Anna Hurst along; with numerous nieces and nephews. Larry was gone before in death by his folks; sister, Margaret Coe; and siblings, Bernard and Floyd Byrnes. Mass of Christian entombment will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church, Monday, January 4, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Fr. Raymond Urbanek administering. Entombment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Ovid. The family will get companions at Keck-Coleman Funeral Home, 989-224-4422, St, Johns on Sunday, January 3, 2010, 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. The Rosary will be asked Sunday night at 7:00 p.m.
