Donald Milo Lindblad was brought into the world on March 4, 1937, to Melvin and Myrtle (Bothun) Lindblad in Madison, MN. Donald grew up the second of five kin on the family ranch in Maxwell Township, rustic Dawson, MN. He was submerged and affirmed at Mission Covenant Church. He went to class through eighth grade at District 72, a one-room school building, and moved on from Dawson Public school in 1955.
