Fahmi Hinavi Killed: As per an unverified story which flowed online throughout the end of the week, a man who was asserted to be a “senior Mossad official” – recognized in Iranian media as Fahmi Hinavi and different web-based media reports in Turkish, Persian, Arabic and different dialects containing a similar data and the name (which, notwithstanding, was spelled as “Fahmi Hinawi”) – was professed to have been killed when his vehicle halted at a red light in southeast Tel Aviv on Thursday, with assailants claimed to have promptly fled the scene.

Following the introduction of the questionable story, a video affirmed by twitterati to show the snapshot of the “Mossad official executing” – some portrayed the occurrence as the “murdering of Mossad administrator” – turned into a web sensation, setting off theory and tricks among netizens, with some fantasizing that the supposed episode could be an Iranian reaction to the slaughtering of its senior physicist, Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, on 27 November.

From the outset it resembled whatever other viral story that twitterians share, until, in the end, some netizens took to web-based media to disprove the reports as phony and gossip.
