Eau Claire Accident Today – Different accidents including a few dozen vehicles along Interstate 94 in western Wisconsin shut down a piece of the parkway Thursday morning. The State Patrol said in an explanation that freezing precipitation early Thursday left the highway frosty among Menomonie and Black River Falls. Around 5:45 a.m. a semi-trailer clearly slid in the middle close to Hixton and burst into flames with two vehicles under it. Different crashes and run-offs happened around the semi-trailer

I-94 is relied upon to be shut around there for a large part of the day.

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation detailed the accompanying terminations at 1 p.m.: Eastward I-94 is shut from County HH at Foster in Eau Claire County to WIS 121 at Northfield in Jackson County, and traffic is being rerouted off at County HH to US 53 to WIS 121 to I-94.
