Brian Cowan Death: Accolades have been paid to the cleanser star who showed up as Murray Crozier in the BBC Scotland dramatization. Tom Urie, most popular for his chance as Martin in Still Game, said on Twitter: “So pitiful to know about the death of my River City associate Brian Cowan. He was a stunning man and an extraordinary entertainer.”

Cowan was discovered dead on Saturday evening at his home close to Falkirk.

He was found after companions had fruitlessly endeavored to reach him, the Scottish Sun reports. He played DCS Brian Holmes in Taggart from 1993 and 2005 and furthermore highlighted in EastEnders, Silent Witness, Casualty and The Bill. Police say there are no dubious conditions encompassing his demise and that the Procurator Fiscal has been educated.
