Barbara Obituary Tober: Barbara D. Tober, 93, of Portsmouth, died Saturday, July 18, 2015. She was brought into the world in Lawrence, Massachusetts, on January 24, 1922 to Nathan and Rose (Slater) Handler. Barbara was an individual from Temple Israel in Portsmouth.

She was predeceased by her significant other David A. Tober in 2013.

Survivors incorporate two little girls, Elizabeth Tober of Brighton, MA and Kathy Lavyne and her significant other Dr. Michael Lavyne of Water Mill, NY; grandson, Andrew Lavyne and his better half, Jennine of New Canaan, CT; granddaughter, Erika Garcia Lavyne and her significant other, Jose Antonio Garcia Gonzalez of Chappaqua, NY; four extraordinary grandkids; a brother by marriage, Dr. Edward Tober and his significant other, Linda of Exeter, NH.
