John Van Petten Obituary: Van Petten family is coordinating this pledge drive. With significant bitterness we declare the death of our cherished John Van Petten, our caring dad, child, committed sibling and companion to every one of whose lives he contacted. John has left us early morning on January 1, 2021.

While taken too soon from us, John carried on with a full life as a magnificent dad, business person, devoted local official, and enthusiastic fire fighter.

John was brought into the world in Villa Park, IL on October 8, 1971. As a kid he brought a feeling of responsibility and assurance to all that he did, while not paying attention to himself as well and carrying giggling to all who knew him.

His obligation to creating strength in his actual ability got back a state title in wrestling. His normal drive and want to serve his locale was spoken to in his investment in the Oak Lawn Professional Firefighters Labor Union and served for the Forest Park Fire Department.

John is made due by his mom Mary Ann Van Petten, siblings Tom Van Petten, Jim Van Petten, sister Megan Van Petten, and four youngsters Bridget, Grace, Margaret, and John Van Petten.
