Rebecca Shadowen Obituary: The Medical Center has affirmed that Infectious Disease Specialist and network pioneer, Dr. Rebecca Shadowen, has died after complexities identified with COVID-19. Dr. Shadowen tried positive for the infection in May, at that point, was hospitalized in essential condition at UK Healthcare in Lexington.The last update 13 News got was in June when she was moved from the COVID Unit at UK HealthCare in Lexington to a stage down the bed at The Medical Center’s Bowling Green grounds where she was steady.Dr. Shadowen was a necessary individual from the Warren County Coronavirus Taskforce, where she gave direction and essential information about the infection to the network.

Dr. Shadowen joined the Medical Staff at The Medical Center at Bowling Green in 1989 and has been a doctor head in our area, over the Commonwealth of Kentucky, and broadly for more than 30 years.
