Jimmy joyner obituary: Jimmy Yates Joyner, 85, died on September 6, 2020. Jimmy was a pleased alumni of Wakelon High School and North Carolina State University. In the wake of procuring a structural designer degree, he was an individual from the Army National Guard and worked 36 years with the North Carolina Department of Transportation. During his retirement years, Jimmy delighted in investing energy with his exceptional grandkids, fishing, cultivating, playing a card game, applauding the Wolfpack, morning puzzles, and getting ready kindling for his chimney and cooker. Jimmy liberally shared his nursery’s vegetables, hand crafted frozen yogurt, and newly got fish with others. He was a certifiable individual in all parts of his every day living. Jimmy was a devoted individual from the Zebulon United Methodist Church serving during that time as lay pioneer, head usher, Fall Festival volunteer, and Hinton Rural Life Center mission work colleague. He was an individual from White Stone Masonic Lodge No. 155. Jimmy was gone before in death by his darling guardians J. Roy Joyner and Helen Baker Joyner and sister Betty Joyner Crandell. Jimmy is made due by his caring spouse of 61 years, Ruth T. Joyner and family Mary Lib Brannan, Andy Brannan, Melissa Brannan, Brett Fielding, Milton Brannan, Samantha Jones, Anna Stott, Nancy Joyner, Clay Smith, Jamison Smith, Jean Williams, Richard Joyner, Bonnie Joyner, Clifton Crandell, Joe Temple, numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and various companions.
