Greg Woods Obituary: WOODS, GREGORY DONOVAN Feb. 25, 1949, to August 9, 2009, Our dearest Greg died at home on August 9, 2009, after a bravely taken on conflict with malignant growth, encircled by loved ones. Conceived on February 25, 1949, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Greg spent his initial a long time in Colorado, Japan, Kansas, Hawaii, and Oceanside, moving on from OHS in 1968.

A committed spouse, father, and companion to so many, Greg is gone before in death by his dad, Harry F. Woods, and abandons his secondary school darling and spouse of 38 years, Claire, little girl Jenny Miller (Keith), grandsons Hunter and Hayden, mother and stepfather Agnes and Chester Yanase, sister Cheryl Simmons (Jim), sibling Phil Woods, sister-in-law Nancy Hendy (Bill), brothers by marriage Tom and Glen Stettler (Judy), relative Claire Ronsse and various cherished nieces, nephews, and cousins. For more than 30 years Greg worked with the City of Carls-terrible before resigning in 2004.

A devoted surfer, Greg’s actual enthusiasm was for remote ocean fishing. He was so upbeat on the water putting away successes and recollections. He cruises ahead, abandoning awesome companions, beyond any reasonable amount to name. Greg impacted numerous with extraordinary love and a great comical inclination. Not one to whine or look for compassion, he never lost his capacity to bring others satisfaction. He was a genuine motivation, extraordinarily bold, and our eternity saint.

His family expresses gratitude toward Tony Reid MD, Cheryl Kosits RN, and the medical caretakers of Moores Cancer and Infusion Center just as the attendants of San Diego Hospice and Crisis Care for their commitment and thoughtfulness, not exclusively to Greg, yet to every one of their patients and families. What exceptional individuals you are. We are perpetually appreciative. A festival of Greg’s life will be held Sunday, August sixteenth, at Gregorios Restaurant, 300 Carlsbad Village Drive, 12 to 3 p.m. Easygoing clothing and flip-flops mentioned.
